The newly elect U.S. President Barack Obama gave his speech in a steel-reinforced stage (which measure about 10 feet high and 15 feet long and are about two and a half inches thick) in Chicago.
The crowd roared in approval when CNN declared that Obama had surpassed 270 electoral votes by 11:00 p.m.
Barack Obama was elected the 44th President of the United States on November 4th, 2008 in Chicago.
I have watched this video for 3 times. It made me cry. It gives me hope. Not being American does not mean I have to in apathy. It is a fact that America is a great country and its financial crisis affects almost everyone in the world. God bless America!
