Returning Favors

I find this interesting.

"the norm of reciprocity -- one of the best-studied norms in psychology -- is a powerful factor here: You've offered to do a favor for that person, so now that person is going to be motivated to return the favor."

Well, I guess, if I want something from someone I'll just use this concept. Wink!

Sticking with cyber-communication

source: Yahoo
Most of us have heard that countless couples have been formed through online dating.
At a wedding, I even heard a couple thank an online dating site in
their vows! While I credit the Web for producing countless love
matches, technology can often put too many screens up between us. We
develop superficial relationships over text, instant messenging, and
email. After getting comfortable with someone online, get past the
initial stage of dating and lay off the gadgets a bit! Make time to
hang out in person to really get to know someone -- not just the
persona he presents online or on the phone.

kilig mode

you know, when i said i knew little about love...well, that wasn't true. i know a lot about love. i've seen it. i've seen centuries and centuries of it. it was the only thing that made watching your world bearable. all those wars. pain and lies. hate. made me to turn away and never look down again. but to see the way mankind loves...you can search the furthest reaches of the universe and never find anything more beautiful. so yes, i know that love is unconditional. but i also know it ca be unpredictable, unexpected, uncontrollable, unbearable and well, strangely easy to mistake for loathing. what i'm trying to say tristan is...i think, i love you. my heart, it feels like my chest can barely contain it. like it doesn't belong to me anymore. it belongs to you. and if you wanted it, i'd wish for nothing in exchange. no gifts, no goods, no demonstrations of devotion. nothing but knowing that you love me too. just your heart in exchange of mine.

We can definitely change the world. Just one Act of Random Kindness will do.

It's pretty amazing to know that Genesis 6:14 can be about love. A very interesting, notable line when Freeman explained to Joan, "A love story. Believing in each other. Standing by each other. Side by side." She struggles in keeping her family together while her husband's busy with ark-building. He added, "If someone asks for patience, you think God will them patience? Or will He give them an opportunity to be patient? " The same with courage or an opportunity to be courageous; a closer family, warm fuzzy feeling or an opportunity to love each other?

Nice huh? i recommend you watch Evan Almighty, a sequel to Bruce Almighty. You'll definitely enjoy it. Have fun!

note: Evan was played by Steve Carrell, God by Morgan Freeman and Joan by Lauren Graham.

Dad, can I ask you something?

Ideas have been pouring out. But what and how to write it seems to be juggling in my mind because I want to keep it interesting as I share something about myself.

As usual, it's now six in the morning and I couldn't find my spot in my tiny bed even just to drowse off. Guess what? I am surfing the net. Hahaha...

Well, going to my favorite sites to watch TV shows can be boring. Yeah, for four hours. Marathon of Will and Grace, some Ally Mcbeal and Kyle XY episodes and that leaves me nothing but to write. I've been wanting to write about resiliency not just to cause traffic but because I have to. Anyways, I ended up not writing about it because I happen to stumble again on Interview with God. Have you seen it? You better do.

When I first saw this, it made me cry. Hehehe...what can I do? I was on the verge of giving up during that time. Really, it is beautiful. Hey, what if...you can ask Him (Daddy God) anything, what would it be?

I am thinking.

Dad, do animals have souls? Can they enter Your Kingdom? What did Your Son look like when He was still on earth? Where'd Peter go? What did Adam and Eve look like? What the earth looked like before Noah's time? Is there anyone else besides us in this vast universe? I have so many questions to ask you Dad...but I still have to wait for You to take me...sigh...when would that be? I can't wait. :)
